For this project, I was required to make a 20+ page promotional booklet for a typeface with at least 8 styles and weave a relevant theme throughout the specimen without using any graphic elements aside from the letters themselves. I chose the font family Plantin and incorporated the theme of plants with a green color scheme. I used the glyphs (mainly the bracket and lowercase “L”) to create shapes that mimic leaves and stems for subtle, consistent visual interest.
